What the work involves
- Respond to leak and odour calls, survey the area with detection equipment, and make the site safe.
- Locate and expose buried mains and services before excavation or third-party digging.
- Fit, purge, and pressure-test service lines, regulators, and meter sets.
- Relight and check appliances and confirm combustion and venting are acceptable.
- Carry out cathodic protection readings and corrosion surveys on steel assets.
- Complete job records, leak classifications, and as-built notes for the network records.
