Accessibility Statement
How Novus Learn supports keyboard, screen-reader, reflow, contrast, and motion needs.
Accessibility is an ongoing production requirement. Report a barrier through the contact page so it can be reproduced and corrected.
Current support
- Semantic page landmarks and heading structure.
- A skip link and visible keyboard focus.
- Native modal dialogs that trap focus and return it after closing.
- Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 CSS pixels.
- Light and dark themes with colour-independent labels.
- System-aware and persistent reduced-motion controls.
- Responsive reflow with fixed mobile navigation that reserves content space.
Source and visual alternatives
Topic canvases and generated visuals include complete list or text alternatives, visible source links, keyboard controls, and reduced-motion information parity.
Known scope
Automated checks cannot replace keyboard and assistive-technology testing. The release process includes browser, keyboard, zoom, reduced-motion, and mobile checks. Broader screen-reader testing continues as richer visual features arrive.
