Three product lines, one rule: every claim stops where our evidence stops. This page explains how each line is built and what its results do — and do not — mean.
Aptitude suites: authored one at a time
Each of the 376 aptitude practice suites follows the same pipeline before it is published: research against public official sources, a source dossier, a content blueprint, and then hand-written question banks — a guided bank, a timed mini-test bank, a full-simulation bank, and a reserve bank, each unique to its suite. Nothing is bulk-generated, cloned between suites, or taken from live or leaked exams, and a suite is never marked published from its route or card alone; incomplete suites stay unpublished shells. Suite pages state what an official exam owner runs; the practice content is Novus’s own educational preparation, not the official test.
Scoring stays on the server
Practice sessions send only question stems and choices to your browser. Answer keys live in server-only modules, submissions are scored server-side with enforced session deadlines for timed modes, and results are stored on your device rather than in an account. Results are educational feedback on practice questions — they do not predict official exam outcomes.
Cognitive Skills Lab and the Reasoning Challenge
The Cognitive Skills Lab is educational practice for named skill constructs, with lessons linked from every suite. The Novus Reasoning Challenge is an entertainment and learning product that reports a Novus Reasoning Score — a percent correct on one form — and is deliberately never converted to an IQ, because we have no norm sample or validity study to justify one. That score also never feeds Career Discovery: the matching engine strips it at input. Full detail lives on the Reasoning Challenge methodology page.
