How matching works
Your answers are grouped into named sections — interests, work values, preferred activities, work environment, self-reported skill confidence, and goals — and compared against a deterministic exploration profile for each career family. Every match is explainable: the result page shows which sections drove a family up or down your list, rather than presenting an unexplained ranking. Self-reported skill confidence stays separate from tested ability, and no test score of any kind enters the calculation — the engine strips reasoning-score inputs before matching runs.
Privacy model
The questionnaire needs no account and sends nothing to a server: sessions, answers, and results are stored in your browser’s IndexedDB and matching runs entirely on your device. You can pause mid-questionnaire and resume later on the same device, delete sessions whenever you like, and export results yourself if you want to keep them. Instrument, scoring, and weight versions are recorded with each result so an old result is never silently reinterpreted by newer scoring.
