Occupation

Energy auditor

Energy auditors survey buildings or industrial sites to work out where energy is being used and wasted, then set out the measures that would reduce it. The role pairs site work such as blower door tests and equipment inventories with modelling, calculation, and report writing. Findings have to be defensible, because clients spend money on the strength of them.
