A quick primer on how Novus Learn works. See the full FAQ for more on sourcing, privacy, and accuracy.
What is Novus Learn?
Novus Learn is a connected visual learning platform. Turn a public or personal source into evidence-linked study, practise with puzzles and assessment preparation, learn JavaScript by building, explore careers, and review device-local progress from one dashboard.
Does it use AI to write the answers?
No. Novus Learn is extractive, not generative. Answers and study material are assembled from the source's own sentences and every claim links to its evidence; nothing is generated or invented.
Do I need an account?
No. It is accountless and local-first. Public topics open directly, and saved projects, preferences, and history stay on your device — there is no login and no cloud profile.
What can I turn into a study space?
A Wikipedia topic, public article, whole website, open-access paper, captioned video, supported file, textbook, or codebase can become the same source-grounded learning workspace. You can also begin directly with puzzles, cognitive skills, aptitude, reasoning practice, coding, or career exploration.
Is it free?
Yes. The learning content is free and keyless, with no paid AI behind it. Optional analytics and ads pay for it, and you can switch them off in cookie preferences at any time.
