Tour operations coordinators keep departures running behind the scenes: booking accommodation, transport, guides, and activities, and fixing things when a supplier falls through. - Confirm bookings with hotels, transport operators, guides, and activity suppliers.
- Maintain departure schedules, rooming lists, and passenger manifests.
- Brief guides and drivers and issue itineraries and vouchers.
- Rebook and reroute when suppliers cancel, weather changes, or a group is delayed.
- Track supplier invoices, deposits, and booking deadlines.
- Log incidents and complaints and follow up with suppliers afterwards.
