- Survey and analyse a site's soils, drainage, existing planting, levels, and access before designing.
- Prepare concept plans, planting schemes, and grading and drainage layouts.
- Produce construction drawings and specifications for hard landscaping, planting, and irrigation.
- Consult with clients, planners, ecologists, and community groups and adjust the design in response.
- Coordinate with civil and structural engineers where landscape sits over structures or services.
- Inspect landscape works on site and check plant stock, levels, and finishes against the drawings.
