- Develop concept designs and options in response to a client brief, site survey, and planning constraints.
- Produce drawings, models, and specifications in CAD and BIM software for approval and tender.
- Check designs against building codes, accessibility rules, fire requirements, and planning conditions.
- Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical consultants so the disciplines resolve into one design.
- Present options to clients, planning authorities, and community groups and revise the design after feedback.
- Visit sites during construction to answer contractor queries and confirm the work matches the drawings.
