Change management specialists focus on the people side of a transformation: who is affected, what they will have to do differently, and what would make that realistic. They plan communications, training, and support around a delivery programme, and surface resistance early rather than at go-live. The role depends heavily on credibility with front-line staff and with sponsors at the same time.

- Assess which groups a change affects and how their daily work will differ
- Build communication and engagement plans aligned to the delivery timeline
- Run workshops and listening sessions to surface concerns and practical obstacles
- Coordinate training and support material so people are ready before go-live
- Track adoption after launch and feed problems back to the programme
- Brief sponsors honestly on where readiness is weak
