Woodworking machine operators run saws, planers, moulders, sanders, and CNC routers to cut and shape timber and board into components. - Select and change blades, cutters, and tooling and set fences, guides, and depths
- Feed and machine timber or board and check dimensions and finish against tolerance
- Sort and grade material, working around knots, warp, and other natural defects
- Maintain guarding, dust extraction, and housekeeping around machines
- Record output, offcuts, and waste and report tooling or machine faults
