Occupation
Industrial electrician
Industrial electricians keep the electrical side of plant and production equipment running: motor controls, drives, sensors, and the control panels that tie them together. The work leans heavily on diagnosis, because a stopped line has to be traced back to a cause quickly and safely. Shift coverage and callouts are common where plant runs around the clock.
