Occupation
Cabinetmaker
Cabinetmakers build cabinets, furniture, and architectural millwork in a shop and then install the finished pieces on site. The trade is precision woodworking: material selection, machining to tight tolerances, joinery, and finishing all affect whether a door closes squarely and a grain match reads well. Many cabinetmakers also work from CAD or cutting-list software and operate panel saws and CNC routers.
