Warehouse associates receive, store, pick, and pack the goods moving through a distribution site. The work is physical and paced by targets, and accuracy matters as much as speed because a mispick travels all the way to the customer. Sites often run several shifts, including nights and weekends.

What the work involves
- Unload inbound deliveries and check quantities and condition against the paperwork.
- Put stock away in system-directed locations and scan each movement.
- Pick orders from a handheld or voice system and build stable, correctly labelled pallets or totes.
- Pack, weigh, and label cartons for despatch and stage them for the right carrier.
- Count stock during cycle counts and flag discrepancies for investigation.
- Keep the working area, walkways, and equipment clean and safe.
