About this practice suite
This suite prepares candidates for forklift knowledge preparation selection in the rail, transit, road transport, maritime, and logistics sector with 5 skill areas: safety judgment, mechanical comprehension, spatial reasoning, situational judgment and attention and concentration. Every question was written by Novus editors for this suite (none are taken from live or leaked exams), and the full bank holds 52 scored questions across three modes, plus 8 reserve questions used to vary repeat attempts. Answer keys never ship to the browser: your answers are scored server-side, and results stay on your device.
Skills this suite practises
- Safety judgment: Hazard recognition, safe sequencing, escalation, and risk controls.
- Mechanical comprehension: Forces, motion, gears, pulleys, levers, fluids, pressure, and basic machines.
- Spatial reasoning: Rotation, folding, views, orientation, maps, and three-dimensional visualization.
- Situational judgment: Evaluating workplace responses against role-relevant principles.
- Attention and concentration: Sustained focus, selective attention, and accuracy under time pressure.
Sample questions from the guided bank
Two of the 10 guided-practice questions, shown exactly as they appear in a session. Answers and explanations are not printed here, because keys stay on the server. Open guided practice to answer them and see how you did.
Before operating a forklift each shift, operators should:

- C. Only check the horn at lunch
- D. Complete a pre-use inspection and report defects
A pedestrian walks into a marked aisle while you approach with a load. What is best?

- B. Stop, sound horn if needed, and wait until the path is clear
- C. Wave them aside while moving
- D. Raise the load higher and continue
Practice modes and timing
Guided practice is untimed-feeling and instructional; the mini-test is a short timed check; the full simulation mirrors a complete sitting. All three draw on separate question sets, so moving up a mode never repeats what you practised.
| Mode | Questions | Duration | Start |
|---|---|---|---|
| Guided practice | 10 | 15 minutes | Open |
| Timed mini-test | 12 | 18 minutes | Open |
| Full simulation | 30 | 45 minutes | Open |
