What the work involves
- Interpret geological and survey models to design pit shells, stopes, or development headings.
- Produce short- and long-range mine plans and sequence extraction against the plan.
- Design ventilation, ground support, haulage, and drainage arrangements with specialists.
- Plan drill and blast patterns and review the resulting fragmentation and wall conditions.
- Monitor production, dilution, and equipment performance against the plan and adjust it.
- Contribute to ground control, ventilation, and safety documentation required at site.
