What the work involves
Develop process routings, work instructions, and tooling or fixture requirements.
Select and specify machines, cutting tools, jigs, and automation for a given part family.
Run process trials, capture measurements, and tune parameters until output is stable.
Investigate scrap, rework, and machine stoppages with operators and maintenance.
Support new product introduction reviews and feed manufacturability issues back to design.
Maintain process documentation, control plans, and change records.
