What the work involves
Complete a start-of-shift truck inspection covering forks, tyres, brakes, and battery or fuel.
Unload and load trailers, checking pallet condition and quantities against paperwork.
Put stock away to designated racking locations and scan the movement into the system.
Pick pallets for outbound orders and stage them in the correct dock lane.
Keep aisles, charging areas, and dock plates clear and report damaged racking.
Recharge or refuel the truck and hand over outstanding tasks to the next shift.
