  1. Prepare the parlour, attach and monitor milking equipment, and follow udder-hygiene protocols.

  2. Clean and sanitise milking lines, bulk tanks, and holding areas between milkings.

  3. Monitor milk temperature, yield per animal, and somatic cell or quality alerts, and flag anything unusual.

  4. Feed the herd to the ration set by the nutritionist and adjust for stage of lactation.
