Occupation

Agricultural equipment technician

Agricultural equipment technicians diagnose, repair, and maintain tractors, harvesters, sprayers, and the hydraulic, electrical, and guidance systems built into them. Work happens in a dealership workshop and out on farms, and the pace rises sharply during planting and harvest when a broken machine stops the whole operation. Modern machines mix mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, and software fault-finding.
