- Prepare ground, plant seed or seedlings, and thin or transplant growing crops.
- Irrigate, weed, prune, and apply crop treatments under the supervision of a grower or agronomist.
- Operate tractors, harvesters, and attachments, and carry out daily checks before starting work.
- Pick, grade, and pack produce to the size, ripeness, and quality standards a buyer has set.
- Clean and store equipment, containers, and storage areas at the end of each shift.
- Report pest damage, disease signs, irrigation faults, and equipment problems to a supervisor.
