Finding your way around the site

The main menu has five groups, and they are organised by what you are trying to do rather than by how the product is built. Learn holds search, the dictionary and the coding material. Practice holds puzzles, aptitude preparation, cognitive skills and the Reasoning Challenge. Careers holds discovery and the matcher. Explore holds the catalogue and the tools you point at your own source. My Learning holds everything this browser has kept.

Nothing in that menu is behind a sign-in, because there is no sign-in. Opening a section never costs you anything and never creates a record on a server.

Use Search. It looks across this site's own pages, the topics saved in this browser, the dictionary, and official Wikipedia editions at the same time, and it tells you which of those a result came from. It is also the fastest way to reach a page whose name you half remember.

Explore is the filtered catalogue: pick a skill, an activity, a difficulty, a duration or a career family and it narrows every published area at once. The Tool map is the opposite approach, one page listing every destination with the size of the section behind it, which is the better choice when you want to see the shape of the whole product.

The Help Centre documents how each feature actually behaves, the tutorials walk through complete journeys, and the FAQ answers the questions that come up before someone has used the product at all. All three are ordinary pages: no widget, no chat, nothing that needs a connection once loaded.
