- Ingest, sync, and log footage and audio from a shoot
- Build a rough cut against the script, brief, or running order
- Refine pacing, transitions, and sound levels through successive versions
- Add titles, graphics, subtitles, and basic colour correction
- Export deliverables to the specification each broadcaster or platform sets
- Archive project files and media so a cut can be revisited
