Supply chain analyst
Supply chain analysts study how goods, orders, and costs move through a network and recommend changes to how it is run. The work involves pulling data out of ERP, warehouse, and transport systems, building models, and presenting findings to operational teams who have to act on them. Recommendations are only useful if they survive contact with the warehouse and the carrier.

Extract and clean data from ERP, warehouse, and transport management systems.
Analyse service levels, lead times, freight costs, and inventory positions to locate problems.
Model scenarios such as changing a distribution point, carrier mix, or order policy.
Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for operations and commercial teams.
Present findings and recommendations, and document the assumptions behind them.
Track whether an implemented change actually moved the measure it was meant to move.
