Geophysicist
Geophysicists use physical measurements — seismic, magnetic, gravity, electrical — to work out what lies beneath the surface without digging it up. The work is strongly quantitative: acquiring survey data, processing it through signal-processing chains, and interpreting the result alongside geological evidence.
