Forensic scientist
Forensic scientists analyse physical evidence and report what it does and does not show. The work is procedurally strict (continuity of evidence, validated methods, and contamination control) because findings may be tested in court. Casework is mostly laboratory-based, with report writing and occasional expert testimony.
