About this practice suite
This suite prepares candidates for contact-centre multitasking selection in the sales, marketing, customer service, and contact centres sector with 5 skill areas: multitasking and monitoring, customer-service judgment, situational judgment, attention and concentration and planning and scheduling exercises. Every question was written by Novus editors for this suite — none are taken from live or leaked exams — and the full bank holds 52 scored questions across three modes, plus 8 reserve questions used to vary repeat attempts. Answer keys never ship to the browser: your answers are scored server-side, and results stay on your device.
Skills this suite practises
- Multitasking and monitoring — Tracking multiple streams, priorities, alerts, and changing conditions.
- Customer-service judgment — Service recovery, communication, escalation, and policy application.
- Situational judgment — Evaluating workplace responses against role-relevant principles.
- Attention and concentration — Sustained focus, selective attention, and accuracy under time pressure.
- Planning and scheduling exercises — Resources, dependencies, deadlines, constraints, and contingency planning.
Sample questions from the guided bank
Two of the 10 guided-practice questions, shown exactly as they appear in a session. Answers and explanations are not printed here — keys stay on the server — so open guided practice to answer them and see how you did.
Voice queue SLA is 80/20; chat SLA is 60s first response. When both breach simultaneously, educational priority usually weighs:
- A. Whichever screen was opened last
- B. Always chat first because it feels faster
- C. Severity/customer impact plus which channel is farthest past SLA — not habit alone
- D. Ignore SLAs and clear personal email
You are mid-wrap on a complex billing call; a VIP chat pings and email #47 ages past SLA. Best?
- A. Abandon wrap without notes so history is blank
- B. Answer VIP while still talking to the billing customer
- C. Close all tickets as resolved without contact
- D. Finish a tight, accurate wrap, park email with a visible note, and take the VIP with context ready
Practice modes and timing
Guided practice is untimed-feeling and instructional; the mini-test is a short timed check; the full simulation mirrors a complete sitting. All three draw on separate question sets, so moving up a mode never repeats what you practised.
| Mode | Questions | Duration | Start |
|---|---|---|---|
| Guided practice | 10 | 15 minutes | Open |
| Timed mini-test | 12 | 18 minutes | Open |
| Full simulation | 30 | 45 minutes | Open |
