Prepare for an aptitude test

Open Test suites and search for the assessment you are facing, or browse by sector if you only know the industry. Open the suite and read what it says the assessment involves — the format, the sections, and roughly how long it runs.

Every suite lists the skill constructs it draws on. Open the recommended lessons and work through them before you attempt anything timed. Each lesson explains what the skill is, walks worked examples, and names the pitfalls that cost people marks — which is the part that transfers to whatever the real questions turn out to be.

Use Guided practice, and use the open practice bank on each skill page. Getting an item wrong while you can still see the method is the useful kind of wrong. Do not move on while you are still guessing.

Move to a Mini-test once the method is solid. This is where you find out whether you actually know it or were just taking your time. Expect the first one to be worse than the untimed practice; that gap is the thing you are training.

Finish with a Full simulation at real length. Then download the suite's study guide as a PDF or spreadsheet so you can revise on paper, on a tablet, or anywhere without a connection — and export your result if you want to compare it with a later attempt.
