The Reasoning Challenge
What the Novus Reasoning Score is, what it deliberately is not, and how the Practice Lab differs from a form.
Applies to Novus Learn 0.1.0
Forms and the Practice Lab
Copy linkA form is a complete authored challenge, taken end to end. The Practice Lab is the opposite: single item types, drilled one at a time, with the reasoning explained. Use the Lab to learn a type and a form to see how you do across all of them.
The Novus Reasoning Score is percent correct
Copy linkYour score is how many items you got right on one form, expressed as a percentage. That is the whole of it. It is never converted to an IQ, and that is a deliberate refusal rather than a missing feature: converting a score to IQ requires a norm sample and a validity study, and we have neither. Anything that claims otherwise from a web page is inventing it.
It does not feed anything else
Copy linkThe Career Matcher strips a reasoning score at input, on purpose. A reasoning result is not evidence about which careers suit you, and wiring the two together would imply that it is.
If you need a real assessment
Copy linkThe testing-options page explains what a supervised, professionally administered assessment actually involves and how it differs from anything you can take on a website. Read it before you treat any online score as meaningful.
