Aptitude practice

Aptitude preparation is one body of material with three doors. A test suite is preparation for a particular kind of assessment. A skill is one construct — numerical reasoning, error detection, situational judgement — that several suites draw on. A sector groups suites by the field of work that uses them. They are three views of one model, not three separate catalogues, so a skill page and a suite page always agree about what is being measured.

If you know the assessment you are facing, start from Test suites. If you know your weak spot, start from Skills. If you only know the industry, start from Sectors.

• Guided practice — untimed, with the explanation available as you go. Use it while you are still learning the method.
• Mini-test — a short timed run, for checking whether the method holds under mild pressure.
• Full simulation — the full length and the full clock, for the last stage of preparation.

Every construct has a full lesson — what the skill actually is, worked examples, the pitfalls that cost people marks, practice tips, and a glossary — followed by an open practice bank you can work through directly on the page. The lesson carries a visible last-reviewed date so you can see how current it is.

For a formal practice attempt, the browser is sent the questions and the choices — never the key. Your submission is checked on the server and the result comes back to your device, where it stays. That is the only way a practice attempt can be worth taking: an answer key in the page would be visible to anyone who looked.

The open practice banks on the skill pages work differently and deliberately: those are teaching material, so the explanation is right there.
