About this practice suite
This suite prepares candidates for graduate leadership programs selection in the business, consulting, management, and operations sector with 5 skill areas: situational judgment, management and supervisory judgment, critical thinking, verbal reasoning and planning and scheduling exercises. Every question was written by Novus editors for this suite — none are taken from live or leaked exams — and the full bank holds 52 scored questions across three modes, plus 8 reserve questions used to vary repeat attempts. Answer keys never ship to the browser: your answers are scored server-side, and results stay on your device.
Skills this suite practises
- Situational judgment — Evaluating workplace responses against role-relevant principles.
- Management and supervisory judgment — Prioritization, delegation, fairness, coaching, accountability, and team decisions.
- Critical thinking — Evaluating evidence, assumptions, arguments, credibility, and alternative explanations.
- Verbal reasoning — Drawing conclusions from written information without relying on outside assumptions.
- Planning and scheduling exercises — Resources, dependencies, deadlines, constraints, and contingency planning.
Sample questions from the guided bank
Two of the 10 guided-practice questions, shown exactly as they appear in a session. Answers and explanations are not printed here — keys stay on the server — so open guided practice to answer them and see how you did.
In a multi-rotation graduate leadership scheme, learning agility mainly means:
- A. Memorizing one team's jargon forever
- B. Extracting transferable lessons quickly and applying them in the next unfamiliar context
- C. Avoiding feedback to look confident
- D. Only learning tools used in the first placement
Your scheme mentor asks for a candid mid-rotation review, but your line manager is protective of the team's reputation. Best move?
- A. Only praise the team to avoid conflict
- B. Vent anonymously on social media
- C. Share balanced evidence of outcomes and growth areas with both, framing issues as learning—not blame
- D. Refuse the mentor meeting
Practice modes and timing
Guided practice is untimed-feeling and instructional; the mini-test is a short timed check; the full simulation mirrors a complete sitting. All three draw on separate question sets, so moving up a mode never repeats what you practised.
| Mode | Questions | Duration | Start |
|---|---|---|---|
| Guided practice | 10 | 15 minutes | Open |
| Timed mini-test | 12 | 18 minutes | Open |
| Full simulation | 30 | 45 minutes | Open |
