About this practice suite

This suite prepares candidates for entrepreneurship and business reasoning selection in the business, consulting, management, and operations sector with 5 skill areas: numerical reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving, situational judgment and planning and scheduling exercises. Every question was written by Novus editors for this suite (none are taken from live or leaked exams), and the full bank holds 52 scored questions across three modes, plus 8 reserve questions used to vary repeat attempts. Answer keys never ship to the browser: your answers are scored server-side, and results stay on your device.

Skills this suite practises

  • Numerical reasoning: Arithmetic, fractions, percentages, ratios, rates, estimation, word problems, and number relationships.
  • Critical thinking: Evaluating evidence, assumptions, arguments, credibility, and alternative explanations.
  • Problem solving: Selecting methods, combining information, troubleshooting, and reaching practical solutions.
  • Situational judgment: Evaluating workplace responses against role-relevant principles.
  • Planning and scheduling exercises: Resources, dependencies, deadlines, constraints, and contingency planning.

Sample questions from the guided bank

Two of the 10 guided-practice questions, shown exactly as they appear in a session. Answers and explanations are not printed here, because keys stay on the server. Open guided practice to answer them and see how you did.

  1. A pilot sells a $40/mo plan. Variable cost is $12/user/mo; fixed costs are $8,400/mo. Educational break-even user count?

    • A. 210
    • B. 120
    • C. 700
    • D. 300
  2. Two experiments compete for the same week of founder time: (A) price test with clear metrics, (B) a vague "brand vibe" survey with no decision link. Best prioritization under uncertainty?

    • A. Run B first because it feels creative
    • B. Run neither and wait for perfect data
    • C. Prioritize A for learning that can change a near-term pricing decision; park B until it has a decision link
    • D. Promise both fully and sleep less without a plan

Practice modes and timing

Guided practice is untimed-feeling and instructional; the mini-test is a short timed check; the full simulation mirrors a complete sitting. All three draw on separate question sets, so moving up a mode never repeats what you practised.
