About this practice suite
This suite prepares candidates for business project coordination aptitude selection in the business, consulting, management, and operations sector with 5 skill areas: planning and scheduling exercises, situational judgment, in-tray and e-tray exercises, data checking and clerical accuracy and verbal reasoning. Every question was written by Novus editors for this suite (none are taken from live or leaked exams), and the full bank holds 52 scored questions across three modes, plus 8 reserve questions used to vary repeat attempts. Answer keys never ship to the browser: your answers are scored server-side, and results stay on your device.
Skills this suite practises
- Planning and scheduling exercises: Resources, dependencies, deadlines, constraints, and contingency planning.
- Situational judgment: Evaluating workplace responses against role-relevant principles.
- In-tray and e-tray exercises: Prioritizing messages, deadlines, stakeholders, and competing tasks.
- Data checking and clerical accuracy: Matching, filing, coding, record checking, and identifying discrepancies.
- Verbal reasoning: Drawing conclusions from written information without relying on outside assumptions.
Sample questions from the guided bank
Two of the 10 guided-practice questions, shown exactly as they appear in a session. Answers and explanations are not printed here, because keys stay on the server. Open guided practice to answer them and see how you did.
In a RAID log, the ‘I’ most commonly stands for:
- A. Invoices only
- B. Ignore list
- C. Issues: current problems needing resolution (distinct from future risks)
- D. Internal branding
A status report still shows a dependency as ‘green’ though the owning team slipped two weeks. Best coordinator action?
- A. Leave it green to avoid awkwardness
- B. Delete the dependency row
- C. Update status with evidence, flag impact, and notify the PM/stakeholders promptly
- D. Wait until the next quarterly review
Practice modes and timing
Guided practice is untimed-feeling and instructional; the mini-test is a short timed check; the full simulation mirrors a complete sitting. All three draw on separate question sets, so moving up a mode never repeats what you practised.
| Mode | Questions | Duration | Start |
|---|---|---|---|
| Guided practice | 10 | 15 minutes | Open |
| Timed mini-test | 12 | 18 minutes | Open |
| Full simulation | 30 | 45 minutes | Open |
